First things first, unfortunately we can not print just 1 shirt.  In fact our minimum order is 15 (one of the lowest in town).  See bottom for explanation.  Now for the rest…

1.  How Long will it take to get my shirts printed?

Orders take 2 weeks to print from the time that all of the shirt sizes and numbers are provided and deposit has been made.  There are a few shirt styles that take longer to receive before printing which can add another week to process time (i.e.  American Apparel, Tultex, etc.)

2.  What is your minimum order?

15 Shirts

3.  How many colors can you print?

4 Colors per print location

4.  If I don’t have a design, can Basement Ink. provide a design for me?

Of course.  There will be an artwork fee for all design work.

5.  How big can my design be?

13″x14″ or “13×18″ (there may be an extra fee for this size)

dimensions

6.  What format should my design be to avoid the artwork fee?

Hi-Res JPG, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or an actual size hard copy

7.  What if I need shirts printed sooner than 2 weeks?

If the order can be completed by Basement Ink. in a week or less, there will be a rush order fee of $50

8.  When do I need to pay?

Basement Ink asks for partial payment upfront and final payment when the shirts are picked up or delivered.

9.  What type of shirts can I order?

Contact Basement Ink. to view a catalog with all types of styles of shirts.

10.  What factors influence the cost of my shirts?

  • Number of shirts
  • Number of print colors
  • How many print locations (i.e.  front and back printing)
  • Type/style of shirt

11.  Why can’t you print just one shirt?

Usually, printing a job is 75% setup, and 25% printing time.  It takes a lot of work to get a job ready. Here’s a rundown.  As you can see, if we charged what we should for the time, your shirt would cost about $100.

  1. Prepare Artwork on computer
  2. Print off print positive transperancies
  3. Put emulsion on screens
  4. Let them dry
  5. Expose the screens
  6. Wash them out
  7. Let them dry
  8. Tape off open areas of screens
  9. Align job on press
  10. Put ink on screens
  11. Print test print
  12. Re-align
  13. Print test print
